Celebrating Excellence: GHR Travel Nurse Taylor Seitz Wins Prestigious DAISY Award

At GHR Healthcare, we take immense pride in the dedication, compassion, and excellence our travel nurses bring to every assignment. Today, we’re thrilled to spotlight one of our exceptional nurses, Taylor Seitz, who was recently honored with a DAISY Award at one of our partner medical centers!

The DAISY Award is a nationwide program that recognizes the extraordinary clinical skill and compassionate care nurses provide every day. Out of all the nominations, Taylor was selected by the award committee to receive this prestigious honor—a testament to the outstanding impact she’s made on her unit and the patients she serves.

Taylor received her award in a heartfelt ceremony attended by her ER teammates, her nurse manager, and members of the DAISY Award committee. This moment marked not just an important milestone in Taylor’s career, but also her very first DAISY Award win—and we couldn’t be more excited for her.

With six years of ER nursing experience, Taylor has spent the last four years taking her skills across the country as a travel nurse. A Youngstown, Ohio native, she graduated from Youngstown State University (YSU) and began her nursing career at a hospital in Columbus. Since then, she has also lived and worked in Cleveland, taking on contracts that have helped shape her into the exceptional clinician she is today.

Outside of work, Taylor loves to travel, meet new people on assignment, and spend time with her beloved dog, Jackie. Her adventurous spirit and passion for nursing are evident in everything she does—and clearly, her patients and peers notice.
